How many questions should you ask?

How many questions?

It appears that an average of 110 questions are required to describe an operator workstation in a knowledge file. From experience, we also know that an average of 20 parameters and 72 instructions are needed to describe the core, including process monitoring and control (see figure below).

As more instructions are described, a picture also emerges of the number of options the operator has to control the process. This can vary greatly: fully automated installations sometimes have only a few, but on average there are 5 to 12.
